The CHAI side panel is an internal tool of MG-IP for its own staff. It is not offered to the public.
What it sends. The messages you type into the panel, and, only when the tab you are looking at is an Asana page (app.asana.com) showing a task, that task's Asana id, so CHAI can read the task you have open (older versions of the extension sent the tab's address and title instead). The extension has no access to any other website.
Sign-in. Signing in with Asana gives CHAI your name, e-mail address and Asana user id. Your Asana access token is revoked immediately; CHAI keeps only a random session key, stored in your browser and, as a one-way hash, on MG-IP's server.
Where it goes. To MG-IP's own server in MG-IP's Google Cloud project, which answers with Claude (Anthropic) under MG-IP's business agreement. Conversations are kept on that server as an internal record. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else, and nothing is used for advertising.
In your browser. The session key, your name and the current conversation are kept in the extension's local storage until you start a new chat or remove the extension.
